THE CHAIRMAN OF "NCAHP" DR. YAGNA UNMESH SHUKLA ISSUED A IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE THAT REGARDING PRACTICE AND CLINICAL ESTABLISHMENT NORMS TO BE SET BY ONLY AND ONLY BY "NCAHP"

This is to bring to the kind notice of all Institutions, Organizations, Service Providers, Professionals, Hospitals and Clinics in India and also the public at large that the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act-2021 has been enacted by the Parliament of India and the National Commission for Allied And Healthcare Profession (NCAHP) has been constituted w.e.f from 08.01.2024.
The list of Professions coming under the purview of the Commission has been provided in the above Act and is available on the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India website for reference (https://main.mohfw.gov.in/?g=cocuments/publication). The Commission is in the process of constituting Various Special Committees to draft the Minimum Standards of "Registration Norms","Practice Norms". "Institution Standards and Guidelines", "Professional Status","Clinical Establishment Norms" and "Professional Ethics in respect of all professions covered under this National Commission for Allied and' Healthcare Professions Act, 2021. Please note that all the decisions pertaining to the abovementioned Standards and Rules and Regulations, will be TAKEN BY THE NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR ALLIED AND HEALTHCARE PROFESSION( NCAHP).
It may also be noted that ANY NOTIFICATION, decision issued/circulated without the concurrence/consent of NCAHP, by any Other Committee regarding the "Registration Norms", "Practice Norms", "Institution Standards and Guidelines", "Professional Status", "Clinical Establishment Norms And "Professional Ethics all professions covered under this National Commission For Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 will not bind the professions coming under this National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Profession,including the Healthcare Professions like "Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy,Optometry, Physician Associates and Nutritionist" etc.
